the lion and the mouseNever Underestimate Anyone!

Once upon a time, there lived a lion in a forest. One day, when the lion was asleep under a tree, a little mouse began running up and down upon him. The lion was disturbed and arose from his sleep. He caught the mouse angrily and wanted to crush it to death. “Spare me!” begged the poor mouse. “Please let me go. Someday I will surely be of some help to you.” The lion was much amused to think that a mouse could ever help him. But he was generous and finally let the mouse go.

A few days later, the mouse was passing through the jungle and it saw the same lion trapped in a hunter’s net. Immediately, the mouse gnawed the net until it parted, and soon the lion was free.

“You laughed when I said I would repay you,” said the mouse. “Now you see, even a mouse can help a lion.”
